TCU controller

TCU Controller

Are-inc TCU controller add on for OFgear TCU.

The OFgear TCU is a superb product for the 722.6 transmission but we felt that it could be upgraded to the modern standard of today.

When using the OFgear TCU you have the option of installing a PC software to do your settings or you can use the LCD with joystick to do your setup.

We wanted a simpler and more user friendly solution so with our TCU controller board we make use of a miniature web server that give you a web based setup with easy access to all settings of the TCU.

You can also save your settings to differant "config files" and load them as you need.
You might want a "street setup", "Track setup",  winter/summer setup or other....

then using your phone, Tablet, pC, laptop logging on to the TCU controller via wifi and do all your settings. Or just quickly select a differant setup file and upload it to the TCU.

WIFI connection

When your TCU is up and running there will be an A.P via wifi, allowing you to connect with any gadget supporting wifi and having a modern webbrowser.

We support Andriod, IOS, Macos, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS

SETUP

All the settings are made in the web based system, giving you an "easy to work with" environment, with a lot of help and explanation about the settings and what they  do.

Up to date

We will follow the development of the OFgear TCU and add the features developed by Ole for his TCU. We will also try and add as much help files and explanation for each function/setting to make it more understandable for you as a user of the TCU.

Hardware options

Are-Inc will develop several small extension boards that fit the mainboard and makes use of the mainboards wireless data outputs. Among the products I like to mention the "miniature Stepper gauge board" that makes it easy to add a speedometer function controlled by the speed sensor for the transmission and most likely will fit in your original speedometer cluster.

This add-on board is specially developed for speedometer but can be used to show any of the output parameters from our mainboard.

The board is fully adjustable via the built in webserver.  all you need is a web browser connected to the WIFI a.p

Implementation

W have two differant "mainboards". One works as a "piggyback" between the TCU mainboard and the Arduino controller of the OFgear TCU.
With this board you can almost just plug 'n play.

Our second board works the same and have the same functions but makes it possible to move the controller board outside the OFgear TCU box.

There are implementations where this can be beneficial over having the controller board hidden inside the TCU box.

Using the second board you will need to solder three cables to the OFgear main board and lead them out of the box and to where ever you want to mount the Controller board.
You also need to feed the controller board main power.

Let's work together!

We are always open for new implementations and add-ons to the controller board and to the add-on boards. If you have a suggestion, or a new idea for a setup feature, give us a short description of your needs or ideas and we will investigate further ...
